Multi-factor Authentication¶
Overview¶
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of security to your account by requiring you to enter a code in addition to your username, password or SSH Key. This code is generated by an OTP Authenticator app, such as FreeOTP or Google Authenticator.
Authenticator App¶
We recommend you use an Authenticator app to generate your one-time passwords. You can use any app that supports the Time-based One-time Password (TOTP) algorithm, such as FreeOTP or Google Authenticator.
You can download the FreeOTP Authenticator app for Android or iOS. If you have an Android phone, you can also use Google Authenticator.

How to Set Up MFA¶

Install an Authenticator App
Install an Authenticator app on your mobile device.

Scan the QR Code
Open the app and scan the QR code or type the code manually.

Enter the Code
During the login process, you'll be prompted to enter a code generated by the Authenticator app. Enter the code and you'll be logged in to the cluster.
Troubleshooting¶
If you're having trouble logging in, make sure you're using the latest version of your Authenticator app. If you're still having problems, contact us.
